Program Design &  Philosophy

Our goal is to create an environment in the primary classroom that is safe, caring, and consistent. We stress the need to maintain a positive approach in all matters, as students can achieve at their highest level when they feel safe to share their feelings and take risks.

At this age, it is important that students begin to accept responsibility for their learning. Each child has the opportunity to build leadership skills and work together with other students who are at each of the different levels. They are reminded that we are all unique individuals. As such, each is encouraged to recognize and utilize their own and others individual gifts.

Most importantly, the learning that happens in the primary classroom is closely rooted in the values and beliefs of the Catholic Church.

At this time, our Primary level classrooms blend students in multi-aged blends in order to best meet their educational strengths and needs.  Call us for additional details.
